HUMAN Protocol and HMT live on MultiversX Mainnet

2 min read

From day one, HUMAN Protocol was developed with multichain interoperability in mind. Between October-December 2022 alone, Workers on the HUMAN App completed over 250 million tasks. The requirement for a multichain approach that can facilitate this ever-expanding rate of transactions is more pressing than ever.

Now, HUMAN Protocol and HMT are live on the MultiversX Mainnet! MultiversX is a high-performance, carbon neutral blockchain Layer 1, with low transaction fees. The network can help HUMAN Protocol to fulfill its potential of unlocking Workers, and providing businesses with new Web3 solutions.

About MultiversX

Currently, the MultiversX network can process 30K transactions per second (TPS). With significant upgrades imminent, the blockchain will increase its throughput. The team estimate that, through sharding, the network can scale to process 100K TPS.

The network, with 3,200 independent nodes, is also one of the most decentralized L1s available. To understand why this is important to HUMAN Protocol, read our piece on the benefits of decentralization

HMT

Users of the HUMAN App – and further iterations of this infrastructure – will now be able to earn HMT directly via the MultiversX Network. The token will also be available in the xPortal SuperApp and on xExchange

"Artificial Intelligence is primed to bring a radical and positive change. Before it does that, it needs to learn from humans – at scale. Amazing to see how fast HUMAN Protocol is taking advantage of the hyper-scalable MultiversX infrastructure to push the boundaries of AI training and work in general,” said Beniamin Mincu, MultiversX CEO.

New potential

Collaborating with high-performant blockchains sets the stage for further innovation and development. Together, the two projects can push new frontiers of what is possible, not just in the space of AI and ML, but more generally in the automation, validation, and reward of contribution. HUMAN Protocol’s flexibility is complemented by the underlying processing power of the blockchains it is built upon. This collaboration with MultiversX signals new potential for the project, and we gladly welcome the large and engaged MultiversX ecosystem into ours.
