Newconomics 2023: Challenging the Status Quo

2 min read

While no one can stop the train of progress, it's clear that it's moving faster and faster. Blockchain, Web3, AI, Metaverse, the world has never changed as quickly as it is today. What seemed revolutionary just a few months ago now seems outdated. When what seemed impossible is in fact already "tomorrow".

In the midst of all this, should we simply get in touch with current economies, or build new ones? If the second answer seems obvious, welcome to Newconomics 2023.

Newconomics, let's challenge the Status Quo

Newconomics, the first major HUMAN Protocol conference, will be held at the LX Factory, in the heart of Lisbon, long-time home of startups, innovation and Web3 technology.

For two days, from 14 to 15 November, at the same time as one of Europe's biggest tech events, the Websummit, come and challenge the Status Quo in which tech currently finds itself by meeting up with:

  • Over 80 Teams: A variety of teams and startups will present their innovative ideas.
  • 20 Grantees & Partners: Google, Universal Music Group, Adidas, and other major figures from the web2 and web3
  • 25 Talks & Panels: Inspiring discussions and expert panels on core tech topics that are shaping our economies.
  • 20 Booths & Kiosks: An opportunity for startups and companies to showcase their products and services.

A pitch competition and Hackathon will also be part of the event. A new opportunity for young talent to showcase their skills and obtain support via the Grant Program.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was Newconomics

We need you! It goes without saying that you can use your two days to attend the keynotes, take part in the Hackathon, listen, learn, debate, or network at the VIP Dinner or enjoy the after party: But we would also be delighted to count on you as a contributor, volunteer and much more.

If you'd like to be a speaker, present your startup to the world, or why not be a partner of the Hackathon or the evening, please contact us.

To find out more about the event and join us now, visit the Newconomics website. And if you don't want to miss the announcement of our first speakers, don't forget to follow us on Discord and Twitter.
